Character Animation

This was my character animation starring a Giraffe in a cardboard box. I came up with this idea when I finished a project so I thought to myself "You know whats cool? Giraffes!" The very first thing I did in this project was make my Giraffe in a Cardboard box in photoshop. I had to make the wheels a separate layer so I could make them move in my actual animation. Once I had imported the Giraffe into After effects I had to import my other backgrounds which were a slope, the moon, and the Zoo. After I imported those I started to animate the Giraffe. First thing I had to do was pre-compose the wheels to spin. This next part I had some trouble with I had to perfectly slope the giraffe with the rotate tool do go down the slope then go back up the slop. After that I just used the positioning tool to make it go around the moon and then I arced the the line to make it curve. Once I finished that scene I made it fall down using a similar technique as I used in the multi-plane. I learned how to correctly compile scenes together and export them. Overall this project was using all the other techniques I had used and was pretty entertaining
