Maya Projects

This is my animation I made in maya. It has ice cream on a lazy sally that spins around.  To Make this animation I had to use keyframes in maya to rotate a spinning sally after I grouped them together by using the quick command-g command. Overall this project was pretty simple, you just have to use simple numb mapping to make the ice-cream actually look like ice cream. It was a fun project and I'm glad it introduced me to new topics that I can use in the future.

For this project I had to create Balls and animate them in maya to make them bounce. The first thing I had to do was see how actual balls bounce in an aerodynamic velocity test. Using key frames I had to make them bounce realisticly so that they don't look extremely weird. The hardest ball to animate was the tennis ball because it kept bouncing FOREVER. This was the first project in maya that I actually animated.

In this project I needed to use nurbs to create containers. Nurbs are pretty simple to use all you need to do is click on the tool that uses nurbs and then you make half of a 2d container and use the revelation tool to make a 3D container.

For this salt shaker I had to use the loft tool to create this model. I had to make sure it very precise, I didn't get it perfect but this is what I ended up with. After I got the shape down I had to bump texture it and then I was done.
